Archadeck is the registered trademark of U.S. Structures, Inc., of Richmond, Virginia, the only national and international franchise network specializing in custom-designed and custom-built decks, screened porches, and other outdoor living structures.

How we do it
We provide the brand awareness, operating systems, designs, and sales methodology to enable you, the franchisee, to attract customers and get their dream decks built. We don't provide materials or carpenters—that's all handled by you at the local level. These are custom-built do provide detailed plans for each one of your projects, as well as knowledge and support whenever you need it. projects, after all, which means each project is unique and gets your personal attention and touch.
Archadeck: An idea whose time had come
The first Archadeck office was founded in 1980 in Richmond, Virginia. High interest rates and a recession in the construction industry were preventing homeowners from moving up to bigger, better homes. So they expanded and remodeled instead. Decks are an inexpensive way of adding living area to a house, which appeals to a lot of people, including growing families. An architect and a builder saw the opportunity and founded Archadeck.
The Archadeck idea is as good now as it was in 1980—maybe better. Sixty million American homes have no deck, and 40% of new homes are built without decks. Homeowners are as eager as ever to turn their backyards into attractive "outdoor rooms" with the addition of decks and other structures.
We're in the market to stay. As a franchisee, you have the security and long-term horizon of a solid, established business—unlike many in the home-remodeling industry.
