According to the survey, the ripple effect of the economy has given rise to increased business start-ups. Nearly a quarter of survey respondents (22%), stated that they started their business after being downsized.

And many find that a franchise opportunity is the ideal way to get into business faster. Despite the issues in the nation, many franchisees are doing quite well with their own businesses and enjoying the freedom of working for themselves.
